Elizabeth “Libby” Hart

Libby Hart leads the mass and mid-level donor acquisition, servicing, and operations strategy for Prison Fellowship International. A professional chameleon, with a heart for storytelling and those who the world would forget, her role continues to evolve as Prison Fellowship International grows. In six years, she has served in critical and strategic roles, including Director, International Program Liaison, and Director of Prison Fellowship International’s growing Church Program and Director of Donor Relations. She brings 15 years of experience working with consumer brands, travel and tourism, and various corporate CSR initiatives.

Libby is an award-winning communications professional who, prior to Prison Fellowship International, worked in New York City running PR strategy, campaigns, programs, and media relations at two global marketing agencies. In eight years, she managed dozens of clients, including international brands, such as the Singapore Tourism Board, Carnival Cruise Lines, Hyatt hotels, Qatar Airways, the State of Connecticut, and others. She specializes in communications, new initiative development, relationship building, strategic planning, and optimization of systems and processes.

Libby’s educational background includes a Master’s in International Service from American University, including coursework in international development, security cooperation, and post-war transitions. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts double major in Political Science and Consumer Studies from Virginia Tech, and coursework on European Political Systems in London, England.
